i taught noah how to mow the lawn today. he was so incredibly proud of himself.

we took a walk to the library today and loaded up on new books and books on tape. i had to make max ride his bike because he fell a couple weeks ago and didn't want to get back on. it made it a long walk/ride.

we went to the park party today at the fairgrounds. the boys stood in line for an hour and a half to do this rope course. they were very brave and did an amazing job.

a trip to the campground led to an emergency room visit for max who developed a really bad rash. a shot and some meds and 2 hours later back on our way home. thankfully it was nothing too serious.

levi's favorite thing lately is chewing on all the kids crocs. he finds them anywhere. hopefully he is building up a good immunity system.

i was spoiled yesterday with these beautiful flowers from my fried Tonya who knew i was a little stressed out. i so appreciate our friendship and having someone who can tell where i am at and know how to make my day a little brighter. thanks my friend.

levi absolutely cracking up at max who was sending all the trucks and tractors down the slide. great to watch this happen. it makes me smile huge:)

grandma and grandpa meyer came over for haircuts and dinner tonite. i also painted grandmas toenails which marlee got all excited about and wanted her fingernails painted. she got them done for the first time ever but it was very hard for our little firecracker to sit still to let them dry. i also couldn't get her to hold her hands out to show me her nails. this is what i got. i also love that grandmas hand is in here. don't know why, i just do.

we took the kids to the beach yesterday and made marlee get over her little fear of the water. now all she wants to do is swim in the big pool at our house. she loves the water and has no fear now.

day 185

every fourth of july daddy gets fireworks and lights them off in the backyard. the kids love it and have started picking out their favorites. marlee was scared of them and says "freaked" because we ask her if it freaks her out. needless to say this is one of daddy's favorite holidays.

day 184

major water fight erupted after daddy started spraying the kids with the hose. by this time noah was starting to get ticked. that is when he starts beating on daddy.
