grandma and grandpa came over today to play and do trick or treating. marlee kept grandpa busy by putting stickers all over his face. she was in heaven.

tonite we had all the cousins over. we had dinner then walked to the high school where they had indoor trick or treating. fun times.

part 2 of the pumpkins. they all wanted to paint them. max just stuck with the simple black, which was pretty awesome. and he always works best with his tongue out of his mouth.

today was painting the toes. she wasn't happy until it was all complete:) i just love the way she holds her little feet.

marlee loves her fingernails being painted. it is just really hard to make a 2 year old sit for 10 minutes to let the polish dry. so, we had to do beauty shots to waste away the time with her hands in the air.

i found this note after i went to be last night. naomi wrote it to me after i got upset with her and max for not eating the "healthy" stuff in their lunches today. i told her there would be no more treats until they start eating their food. she knows how to work me. and i caved. they got a little treat but that was still enough to make them happy.

we got the holiday lego magazine today in the mail. this is the best thing that happens to the boys every couple months. they are absolutely obsessed with this thing.

the kids spent a while racking up leaves into a big pile this afternoon so they could jump in them. levi freaked out and nobody wanted to sit still for a picture. can't blame them. it is too much fun to jump!

i went to meijer gardens with max and naomi on their field trip today. their friend audrey was in our group. (naomi's best little friend) it was a perfect day and we had lots of fun seeing all the beautiful things there. max got impatient at one point and said "mommy, you take too many pictures." i told him i take too many pictures to always remember what we did together.
